Candle Care Guide

  1. Trim the Wick: Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch (0.6 cm). This helps prevent excessive smoking and ensures a clean, even burn.

  2. Burn Time: For the initial burn, allow the candle to melt across the entire surface to prevent tunneling. Generally, burn candles for 1-4 hours at a time, depending on the candle's size. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours continuously.

  3. Placement: Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.

  4. Extinguish Safely: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish the candle. This helps prevent hot wax from splattering.

  5. Avoid Moving: Do not move the candle while it’s burning or if the wax is hot. Wait until the candle has cooled and solidified to prevent spills or accidents.

  6. Refrain from Relighting Debris: Remove any wick trimmings, matches, or other debris from the wax pool before relighting the candle.

  7. Storing Candles: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their scent and color.

  8. Candle Safety: Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable objects.

  9. Discontinue Use: Stop using the candle when there is approximately 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) of wax left at the bottom. Continued burning beyond this point can damage surfaces and the container itself.

  10. Enjoy Responsibly: Enjoy the delightful ambiance and fragrance of your candles, but always prioritize safety and responsible usage.
